Welcome to the Matlock Stock Farms website. We are pleased that you stopped by, and hope that you enjoy learning a little about our Shorthorns.
Our purebred cows are raised under the same practical conditions as our commercial cows. We select for cows which are structurally sound, good uddered and which are functional and productive.
We have used a number of quality bulls including Highfield Irish Mist, IDS Duke of Dublin, HS Instant Enticer, and Mandalong Super Flag, just to name a few. We feel that our current herdsires will continue to improve our herd and contribute to the growth of the breed.
Our cattle have been well accepted, selling to seven provinces, and into the United States. We can offer you quality embryos, semen or breeding stock. Please feel free to visit the farm, or call or email for a visit at any time.
