Here are a few news and interest items courtesy of Creta (aka Queenie 1).

Cameron graduated with a diploma from the Livestock Production course at Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB., in June. He is pictured here with his twin nephews, Jeremy and Dylan.

The above photo of our family was taken on Granny Teresa Haydock’s 80th birthday. L-R: Creta, Greg Lovell, our daughter Heather holding Dylan, our daughter Deb holding Jeremy, our son Colin, Granny Teresa, Jim, our daughter Sheri and Jason, and their two children Wyatt & Lara in front. Missing is our son Cameron and Deb’s husband Ryan.

The marriage of our friends, Allan and Tammy Crogie, took place on December 12, 2009. We were happy to join with them in their special day, and wish them all the best in the years ahead.
Other good friends of ours are Larry and Dawne Toner of Kelfield, Sk. Larry has acted as our sales consultant, advisor and insurance agent. If you are in the market for livestock insurance, Larry warrants your serious consideration.

For the past year or so, I (Creta) have been learning about the challenge of living life as a Celiac (no gluten, no sugar, and lactose free items in the diet). The number one requirement is a healthy dose of stubborness.
The links below are for a couple of recipes I have found and really enjoyed. They can also be used without gluten free ingredients if you would like. Click on the links below to view them.
